As wives, moms, and women of God it is so important to take a quick moment out of our day to PRAY! A prayer is the key to walking in strength and confidence that we can do all that He says we can do. It also helps prioritize our day. It reminds us what/who is important in our life. What do we pray for? For everything and everyone! Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated it is simply just a conversation with God. It is a reminder that we need Him and a reminder to have our hands open to receive His will for our life. This is also an opportunity to let go of our unbelief, fears, worries, and our concerns –Oh, how I have many fears, worries and concerns, how about you? I know I’m not alone on this one. 😉
Prayer can even look like just being still and taking some time to listen for God’s guidance for our day. It is also a time to give thanks, and to send our request(s) to God. Prayer is not just about asking but also an important time to show God the adoration He deserves. How does that look like? That may look like, speaking out loud or quietly who He is. For example, “God thank you that you are mighty, that you are my provider, my comforter, my redeemer, my strength. I look to you in Awe of your mighty ways”. When we do this we our encouraged, and our vision is realigned with His promises.
The more you pray the more comfortable you will be communicating with your heavenly father. It will also supernaturally provide strength, joy and peace for your life and circumstances. Isn’t that amazing how when we take time to pray, He provides sanity? Did you know prayer is also a form of self-care? Prayer replenishes our spirit and guides us. Don’t we all need self-care? If you take time to love yourself, you will be able to love others well.
If you don’t know how to pray or where to begin, or maybe you feel uninspired to pray or you feel weary. There has been many times at the end of the day when I just want to lay down, do I get an AMEN!?! Well that’s okay too. God knows exactly where you’re at in you heart and guess what He still loves you. If that is where you’re at today, I have created a voice audio just for you! Take a quick listen.
